A trade that knows this city's pipes
Toronto's a patchwork. You've got Victorian semis with clay laterals from before anyone alive today was born, postwar bungalows with galvanized supply lines rusting from the inside out, and glass towers with pressure-reducing valves that need babying. We don't treat them the same, because they aren't the same.
Older housing stock
Cast iron stacks, clay sewer laterals, galvanized supply pipes — common in the older wards of Toronto and inner-suburb bungalows. These need a different eye than anything built after 2000.
New-build subdivisions
PEX manifolds and plastic DWV in the newer stretches of Vaughan, Brampton and Whitby bring their own headaches, usually builder-grade fixtures that were never meant to last twenty years.
Freeze-thaw cycles
Every winter, ground movement and frozen hose bibs put strain on joints that were fine in August. We see the damage every spring.
Basement living
A huge share of GTA homes have finished basements now — more bathrooms tied into old stacks than those pipes were sized for.

Most plumbing problems here aren't random — they're seasonal and structural
Freeze-thaw cracks old joints in March. Heavy summer storms overload sewer laterals that were sized for a smaller house fifty years ago. A basement reno adds a bathroom nobody planned the drain line for. None of this is bad luck — it's just how GTA housing ages.
We diagnose before we quote
Camera down the line if it's a drain or sewer question. Pressure test if it's a leak. We tell you what we actually found, in plain terms, before any work starts. If the fix is simple, we say so. If it's not, we explain why.

Common questions across the GTA
Do you serve areas outside Toronto proper?
Yes. We cover the wider GTA, including Peel, York, Halton and Durham regions, along with the city itself.
How do I request a quote?
Email us with your address, a description of the issue, and a photo if you've got one. We'll follow up with next steps.
Do you work on older homes with cast iron or clay pipe?
Regularly. A lot of GTA housing stock predates plastic drain lines, and we're comfortable diagnosing and repairing both old and new materials.
What causes most winter plumbing calls in Toronto?
Freeze-thaw movement is the big one — it stresses joints and hose bibs that were fine all summer. We see a jump in leak calls every spring thaw.
Can you handle an emergency the same day?
Active leaks and burst pipes get priority. Email us and flag it as urgent so we can plan accordingly.
